We came to it becau...I love the Unschooling method! We came to it because my husband and I both worked full time and our children were not learning in school. Our 1st grader was told he couldn't read, he could, just not interested in "See Jane Run". All of our children loved to read so we let them educate themselves with a little guidance from us. If they were interested in a subject we got them books on it. For history we visited sites where history was actually made and then discussed what happened there. All three of them passed their yearly exams in the upper 10%.
