Kevin has an aunt who is an entomologist (sp?) and I can also ask her, but haven't thought of doing that yet. I'm sure she's sick of me photographing bugs and sending her pictures to identify after 13 years of it! I am a big pest. I love bugs... they are very interesting... even if I am a bit frightened of the creepy ones!

Gena - I'm sure that Texas and TN are about the same in the bug category. They have roaches in Houston that are as big as humming birds - and they fly around near your outside doors at night and LAND on you while you are trying to get your key in the lock! YUUUUUUCK! A good roach is a dead roach!

Tami - I WON something? How cool is that! I better head over and check that out! Thanks for the tip. I've been off in my own little world this weekend... my husband had Sunday off... so we had what we call a "larvastation day" yesterday. My son said, "I'm a slug! I want to do something with my life!" Ha! We accidentally missed church and I ended up fighting a migraine headache and slept most of the day. We stayed home and played computer games and goofed off all day... my bad! Oh, well... everyone needs some mindless down-time now and then.Sprittibeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07992769339576987845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13517164.post-1137419136843136772006-01-16T07:45:00.000-06:002006-01-16T07:45:00.000-06:00Very cool pic! I'd freak out if they were 2 inches long and black. A bite from that kind of fire ant might kill someone!Sprittibeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07992769339576987845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13517164.post-1137270958971564682006-01-14T14:35:00.000-06:002006-01-14T14:35:00.000-06:00I kinda looks like a fire ant queen.Horrid, for su...I kinda looks like a fire ant queen.
Horrid, for sure!PJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01476252406163690332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13517164.post-1137267213066698372006-01-14T13:33:00.000-06:002006-01-14T13:33:00.000-06:00I do kind of the same thing I made Fridays the day...I do kind of the same thing I made Fridays the day of prayer request for if you have any feel free to let me know have a great weekendmommy to six J'shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05889660498635135063noreply@blogger.com
