Warm fuzzy kitten...

Nothing like a warm fuzzy kitten in your lap... cleaning their fur and purring like a motor. My Minga still smells like the mesquite smoke from the BBQ pit that we grilled on Saturday night. What a cutie she is - playing fetch, trying to talk to us with funny noises, making off with Morgan's little stuffed animals in a flash through the halls... she's a nice diversion for troubled souls.

I cleaned the house from top to bottom today - in hopes that God would send a buyer... my carpet looks brand new, and the kitchen tile is shining. Someone told me that "cleaning house while your kids are young is like shoveling the walk before it quits snowing"... ah, yes - but seeing it clean is a delight. Being organized and clutter free (for the most part) is peace in your house.

I like the Fly Lady website and her email crew. I couldn't keep up with all the email, so I finally gave it up... but I keep a "control journal" like hers, and I have enjoyed using a lot of her methods and suggestions.

Kevin called me a while ago. He has class tonight. We both try and keep busy to pass the time. I wanted to see if I could really email my blog and post something. This is all new to me. I've been labeled the 'Email Queen'... but blogging is a whole new adventure.
