So, I wanted you to know I haven't entirely given up on blogging, although my brian is in no-way capable of handling a serious post topic or even a serious comment thread at the moment. Keep us in your prayers as we have bags to unpack, papers to grade, pills to pop, units to plan, and school to do... and I feel like melting into my bed and doing nothing but wallowing in my sinus misery.
HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM SPRITTIBEE!
Hopefully I'll be buzzing again at top speed soon.

Hey girl, get over the blog block (LOL) so you can be a part of the next homeschool carnival.....what, you don't know what I'm talking about? Well, find out for yourself, cause your invited to the very first homeschool carnival! http://whyhomeschool.blogspot.com/2006/01/carnival-of-homeschooling-week-1.html
See ya there:)
God Bless,
Amber
Dear Heather,
So sorry to hear that your under the weather. It's especially hard to be sick with the guilt of not-doing-school hanging over your head.
Sometimes, I think, God allows us Moms to get sick to make us slow down a little and treat ourselves better. I pray that you'll be up and buzzing soon.
I'm posting a list of some of my favorite things today. Would you be up for a tag?
Oh Sprittibee! I hope that you are feeling better soon. We all got hit on Christmas day. My husband is the only one left sick now - poor guy. We are trying to get back into the groove.
Happy New Year!
Hey there everyone. Thanks so much for the encouragement. I'm up and adam today - feeling much better, although I can't seem to get this gunk out of my throat. I'm drinking hot tea and I slept in really late this morning. We'll probably only eat two meals today (which is better for us anyway). My kids have been great. They've been helping me grade papers. Makes them feel important to get to look at the answer keys! I'm going to plan out my Rock Classification Unit tonight. They're finishing up leftovers from the sheep unit today, and then we'll be starting full-speed back to Konos/School tomorrow! Thanks so much for the comments. Makes me feel like I'm not so alone up here in Arkie-land. :)
Amber - I missed the carnival this time. I had it bookmarked, but couldn't get my stuff turned in because of the holiday trip and illness. I'll try and make next week's set.
Jan - Thank you for your prayers. Sure, I'd love a tag.
Sheri - I hate typos. I guess I'll leave this particular one since you caught me red-handed!
Griz - My little nephew went to the hospital with pnuemonia Christmas day also. Poor thing. I'll pray your hubby gets well quickly.
To Ty bear... if you are listening... Auntie Heather loves you and you and your whole house get well soon! Shoot me an email buddy, and let me know if you're well!
Happy new year to you too! :-)
It seems as though Blog Block happens to everyone at one time or another.
By the way, you're back to being a "Large Mammal."
Don't become alarmed at the swings in classification. Every month or so, NZ Bear cleans out older links.
They rebuild themselves fairly quickly.
