Paintings and Pirates


Just a few days after my favorite painting post, some noteworthy news regarding one of the paintings on my list has hit the news-stands! I thought I would share it with you. Hat tip to my friend Kelly!

OSLO (Reuters) - "The Scream" and another stolen masterpiece by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch were recovered by police on Thursday, two years and nine days after gunmen seized the paintings from an Oslo museum.
