Charlotte's Web - The Movie!

I'm so excited to go see this. I have heard good things about it. We read the book this past year and enjoyed it much! Of course, with a classic like this one, how can you go wrong? The book we were reading had my chicken-scratch handwriting on it from my early elementary days and the kids got such a kick out of the fact that it was "Mommy's kid book". It is nice to see Hollywood turning out movies that have family values.

When I was a kid, my mom gave me one of the books she had from her days at school, and I thought it was so special. Your kids will treasure that copy of Charlotte's Web!

I love Charlottes Web. May eldest and I have a date to see it very soon! I cannot wait!

I just stumbled across your blog. I'm a homeschooling mom of 3. I was looking for info on Nutcracker lessons and you came up!

I'm so glad I found you! I will come back often to read your blog.

I'm glad you're here.

Anita... yes, my copy comes complete with my name in permanent black marker on the front (a little faded now)... and my last name (maiden name) is misspelled! Too cute. I kept the book for that reason... and it was neat to take it down and share it with the kids this year... although the pages are beginning to brown some with age.

kbabe1968 - I love the story, also. It is a timeless one with such sweet values of friendship and service. I'm glad you found my blog and hope that you will stick around. I enjoy "meeting" people through the blog and feel sad when they stop commenting... athough I am sure everyone is busy with their own blogs, lives, and homeschools! Hope to see you around.
