On the Eighth Day of Christmas...

family06-christmas

One of the benefits of being from divorced families (both my husband's and my family) is that our kids have four sets of grandparents (which makes Eight Grandparents!). If it weren't for all of them, our holidays would be a lot less fun. We love all of them very much!

The grandparent in this photo is Chickie (my mom). We took this photo yesterday!

My kiddos have 6 grandparents due to my parents being divorced and remarried, plus 4 living great-grandparents. I know what you mean about that making the holidays more fun {and fuller too}!

Found you through DeeDee.....I love your 12 Days of Christmas. And this post fits us, too. With all of our family, my parents divorces and my husbands parents divorces, we have a total of at LEAST 6 Christmas gatherings to attend. And though ti gets a bit crazy, each one showers our kids with gifts and lots of love.

Thanks RG - we miss you guys.

Rebecca - WOW, 6 and 4 GGP! That is a big family!

Palmtreefanatic - Thanks and Happy New Year to you, too! Sounds like yours will be a warm and sunny one!

One cool mama - Thanks for stopping in. I normally answer comments a lot quicker than this. :) I just got a little behind because of our vacation and trying to get back to school in January. Sounds like you are a traveling family, too. :) Happy New Year!!!
