Late night...

Just got finished with an accounting project today... have 3 days off at home with the kids. I'm up late since I get to sleep in tomorrow for a change. I've been working contract for a CPA for the summer since "school" is out. Can't wait to start back to school. We love homeschooling.

I have to paint a mural on two boards that will be hung on the church wall tomorrow. I promised the kids we would go swimming, too.

The kids have said they miss me being at home. Kaden told me tonight that he felt like there was a "mountain in-between daddy and us" (me and kids), and a "sharp pointy hill" in-between me and them (his sister and him) right now... and that he was "encouraged" by a song that played on the Christian radio station today about "a boy who had the faith to move a mountain". He said (through tears) that he knew that God wanted him to hear that song right then. Wow - pretty deep stuff for an 8 year old.

It's been hard these last 5.something months without daddy here during the week. We're ready for the house to sell.
