Murals and Minga
What a day. Whew! I've been on my feet going in circles around the kitchen table today painting away. I feel blessed to have had my mom here to help take care of the kids and keep them busy and having fun. She took them swimming and got some groceries at lunch time to feed us sandwiches. I didn't even realize what time it was, but we ate at nearly 3pm! Oh, well - we slept in some this morning and had breakfast after 9am, so it wasn't that bad. I finished the mural at 6:30 or so... Here's a photo of the final product. It stands from the tile to the mantle in front of my fireplace right now... and will be hung at our church after I put a clear coat on it. I'm not the only one painting. There are lots of the ladies painting one. They used overheads to trace them onto boards, so don't think it's an original! The only thing original on mine are some details (trees, faces, colors, etc.) - and elbow grease.
No calls on the house today. At least 3 fliers have disappeared this week. Still praying for answers soon on that prayer.
I also caught my little kitten napping in the windowsill beside the door today. She's so cute. Here's a photo of her as well. Enjoy!

Heather--your kitten is so cute! I can't believe having her "accessorize" your house hasn't sold it yet!
I am still praying for you, sister. . .keep the faith. . .your little Kaden's words moved me to tears.
Love,
Tawdra
