Busy Busy

I'm coming back in tonight to post the final photos of our rock painting assignment. I'll link it to the Rock Unit post also. Tomorrow is the big day for the blog... the 8th of June! At least I hope so. I haven't seen a final product yet, so I'm nervous. I have a friend coming over that hasn't ever tried Mid-Eastern food, so I'm about to go start on my Lebonese Cucumber Salad and fry her up some Falafels. Daddy's home today, so we're not doing school. Good thing, because I wasn't planned ahead for it anyway. My friend and I are going to the hobby store to buy paints for face painting this Saturday at her church yard sale. I've been nominated for that. The kids will have a fun time playing, and it's only from 7-12.

Be sure to stop in later tonight for the rock photos. They are pretty groovy. We painted one rock like a school bus, one like an owl, one like an elephant, one like a house, one like a lady bug... and we have a few other ones also. The kids and I did it all together, but I put the final touches on with a marker. Kaden painted a mountain range that he's mighty proud of. You'll just have to see them!
