Please Pray for Anissa

I have not been feeling very bloggish since the holidays. Getting back on a regular school schedule and counting calories has taken all of my energy. I finally got the suitcases unpacked, the laundry done, the books cracked open, the lists printed out, a few days of school completed... and hopefully after things become a little more routine, I can iron out some free time for blog enthusiasm once more.

In the mean time, I hope you will join me in my efforts to pray for this little handsome mug's mama. I hope that you all have a friend in your life that you KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt will pray for you in a time of need. I have a few buddies like that. My friend Paula called me this week and asked me to pray for Anissa Irvin.

Anissa went home over the holidays and contracted double pneumonia and for some reason, her body has not been fighting it. She was admitted to the hospital around New Years and has been placed into a drug-induced coma to prevent her from dying. She has had trouble with her kidneys trying to fail, and has been enduring elevated blood pressures today. Please pray for these things specifically... and if your heart is so touched, remember Anissa and her hubby and baby boy in your prayers in their time of need.

She has a website (at CarePages) that posts updates. If you want to check in for updates, you can SIGN UP on that page and her CarePage name is AnissaIrvin07. Her friends and family have started a fund at Bank of America to help her family with her extended hospital stay and the healing process. Right now she mainly needs your prayers.

I pray that Anissa will be completely healed and restored to her family... and that her little boy will have his Mommy back home soon.

If you would like to donate to Anissa's fund, please check this info out below:

A group of folks have created a “Friends of Anissa” support group. This group has established with Bank of America the “Anissa’s Miracle Network” fund which was created to assist in funding some of the cost associated with treating and caring for Anissa.

For those of you who wish to voluntarily assist and donate, there are several ways:

1) You can go to any Bank of America branch and contribute in any form, just tell them you wish to donate to “Anissa’s Miracle Network” the account number established for the fund is 898005591218.

2) You can mail your contribution directly to Bank of America. Their address is 4501 West Lake Mary Blvd, Lake Mary, FL 32746. Make the check payable to “Anissa’s Miracle Network”

3) You can schedule a “one time” transfer from your bank account to the fund established at Bank of America by using routing number 063100277.
