Thursday Challenge: Vacation

maui

I wish.

P.S. This is a photo of Maui. My father-in-law gave me this copy when he got back from there this past June. Lucky dog.

P.S.S. Oh, and by the way... Morgan let me upload her Valentine graphic to my CafePress shop. I finally have something under my "Gear" tab! If only I could afford to buy it!

I love the picture of Maui! I've never been there, but would love to go if you ever need a travel friend..LOL. I enjoyed perusing your blog. My college roommate is considering homeschooling, so I am going to point her in your direction just to read some of your entries and see your links. (Her oldest is only 3, so she is still deciding). By the way, I am so TOTALLY a list and calendar junkie, too!

Love the picture! Even though I can see it on clear days from the base where I live on Oahu, I haven't been to Maui yet. One of these days...

Kim, I am not sure Maui is in the near future for me. Practically speaking, there are a handful of places I really want to go FIRST, that would pay off as far as historical field trips much more than a trip to Hawaii would. Although, if money were no object (and it is a rather difficult one for us, unfortunantly), I would drop everything to take a nice vacation to Maui right now.

Anne - You are pretty "lucky live Hawaii". What a blessing. I think it would be a wonderful experience and have a stepsister who lived there for 10 years. Sad that I wasn't ever able to visit her the entire time! Maybe some day.

My travel list if I had my choice would look something like this:

Italy (hopefully will go there next summer)
Creation Museum (near Cincinnati)
Seattle/Vancouver
Australia/New Zealand
India
Jerusalem
Virginia
Thailand
Ecuador/Peru
Alaska
Russia
France
Etc....

:) It's nice to dream. Until then, we read and do unit studies!
