We're about to go close on our house. That is just the beginning of the rest of the adventure. We might be sleeping on air mattresses for the rest of the week, but we'll be excited to be in our new place. I think we will move the bulk of our things in this weekend. I might head out of town to go get my computer this week so I can get that hooked up, too.

Here's my list:

  • Closing

  • Meet friends with temporary bedding at my house tonight

  • Get set up to sleep there for the rest of the week

  • Unload cars

  • Move the cat

  • Doctor Appointment ... due date March 24!

  • Get all our stuff from the friend's house we are staying at

  • Get our laundry finished at friend's house and pack it back up

  • Get a few loads of important things from storage

  • Go to family's house out of town to pick up computer and other things

  • Move out of small storage unit by Thursday

  • Move out of large storage unit

  • Get groceries

  • Unpack

  • Change utilities into our names

  • Internet service turned on

  • Get mailbox key at post office

  • Write to creditors and friends with new address

  • Pay bills

  • Paint

  • Mail birthday cards and anniversary cards for the past two months (I'm behind!)

  • Get school room and office set up so we can start planning for the year

  • Set up my computer at the house

If I'm a little absent in the next few days, you know why!

Congrats! :)

Be sure to let me know your new address. I've been holding off on sending the photo CD until you get your new place. :)

Bev - Thanks sweetie. You got my number, right? :) Give me a holler and I'll tell you what the address is. :)

Renae - I'm deleting your post due to incriminating evidence. :) I don't ever give out locality info in my post. It was a stretch for me to even say what city area I live in or near. I never did that previous to my move to Arkansas and for a long time, I didn't even share what state I was in when I moved. You can never be too careful when it comes to the net. However, please do give me a shout via email and we can discuss all those "secret" details. :) I appreciate the offer and the prayers! I sure need them. I've been pretty tired and in need of naps lately.

Jewels - :) Yep... I do need the camera. I am just dying without it.

Renae - sorry for the delay, but yes!

Amy - Thanks for the encouragement.

gomommyourock - Thanks!

Sherry - I bet. I wish it was all over with (the moving). ;) Keep us in your prayers.

More of Him - Thanks for the blessings. :) Hope to find the camera this weekend...

Tiany - Thanks so much for the prayers. :)

Kelly - Hey Kel! I do hope to see you soon.

Karen - You know better than I do. I have never done an across the ocean move. That has to be way more expensive and taxing.
