No Complaining Zone

m-pic-of-k

It's like swimming through peanut butter around here today. All the more reason a 'gratitude list' might come in handy. Doesn't it drive you mad when:

* you are extremely pregnant and can't move as fast as you want to
* you can see all the things that need to get done and can't do them without help
* you and your homeschooled tweenagers have completely different motivations for the day
* the baby gets sick again
* there are no groceries in the house and your husband took your car to the park and ride
* you were gone for 5 days on 'holiday' and somehow the house looks dirtier than it ever has - and the suitcases won't unpack themselves

So... in honor of the happy, laughing, sick baby who is running around and 'shooting' people with his pretend electric drill (amazing how tiny kids can be happy even if they can't breathe and have to get their nose suctioned every few hours)... I'm going to get my praise on!

Here are a few of the things I'm thankful for (added to my previously started list):

55 - the funny nasal voice of a 20 month old with a cold... I'm Bommy instead of Mommy today.

56 - the fact that the smell of Vicks will eventually fade when the humidifier is put away

57 - the promise that my swollen belly, legs and ankles will be normal again ... soon after the holidays are over

58 - the flat screen TV grandma gave us over Thanksgiving because she got a new one

59 - a friend to help lighten my load and make life more simple

60 - plans and hopes for our personal space... and learning to be patient and wait for the money to carry them out

61 - my new owl dishes from Mardels that I got 75% off

62 - getting to pick out glasses with my little girl and joy over her not needing ones she has to wear ALL of the time

63 - tiny feet to tickle

64 - husband's job that pays the bills

65 - finally matching the box of 'unfriendly' socks in the wash room that has filled to overflowing over the past six months (a sock matching party!)

66 - a lighter school day because of scratchy throats and suitcases to unpack

67 - not having to run the a/c or heat for two days... highs in the low 70's and lows in the low 60's

68 - Milano cookies

69 - fuzzy cats that can be left for 5 days with food and water while we go on 'holiday' and not require a kennel or pet sitter

70 - Uncle Joe's pickles we brought home

71 - a clean kitchen

72 - the floor vacuumed under our couch (because we moved it to see what it would look like in the dining room)

73 - rearranged furniture, something different

74 - baby curls that have numbered days... enjoying the last few weeks before that first haircut

75 - the smell of a new car (it was so nice to have one for three weeks - Thank You, Chevy!)

76 - 'sushine' (minus the n) and 'gorgeous', the baby's new favorite words

77 - silly nicknames

78 - falling leaves

79 - deleted emails

80 - lists getting checked off, even in slo-mo

81 - the little bit of school that will get done today even though we aren't at 100%

'Can We Have Thanksgiving Next July?'... or.... 'My Pre-Holiday Pregnancy Update'

Pregnancy is a strange experience; wonderful and horrible all at the same time. The little swishing limbs and eager expectations of meeting a miniature, brand new family member are such indescribable joys. The stretch marks, strange body malfunctions, spreading hips and feet, swelling and heartburn... not so enjoyable.

I hesitate to give updates because they usually tempt me to complain. At least I find the whole ordeal rather humorous to some extent - I haven't lost my sense of humor yet (ask me about that during the next 'transition' phase of labor and I'll let you know if I still have it).

The photo below was at 31 weeks last time... and I look at least that big now. Not brave enough to get the camera out.

I'm 28 weeks and 3 days today. That means, if my doctor's calculations are correct (and she's a smart cookie - so I don't doubt they might be) this baby is likely to be big enough to float in the Macy's Parade. Well, maybe not this week - but by the time he gets here for sure (assuming I don't split like a faded car-seat before then).

I was 2 months away from having the Viking when things started getting this bad last time....

The Viking in my Ribs and Other Pathetic Complaints

12 more weeks to go. Oh my. That's like 3 FULL months.

Let me give you an idea of why 12 more weeks is very worrisome:

Let's start WAY back so I can give you a clear picture of what pregnancy usually looks like for me....

Imagine me at 118 pounds. Boy, those were the days. I believed all that 'eating for two' stuff. It didn't help that my first child was incompatible with anything (including MEXICAN FOOD) unless it was dripping in cream and chocolate. The fact that all of my children are Winter babies - born just after the holidays certainly hasn't helped my figure through the years. In case you haven't noticed, there's a LOT of really GOOD food available during the holidays... and holiday food is my favorite.

To make a long story short, here are my pregnancy stats:

Baby 1: 118 lbs. + 60 during pregnancy = 178 delivery
Baby 2: 134 lbs. + 36 during pregnancy = 170 delivery

Then I swallowed a Diamond Ring...

Sad First Week of School
Miscarriage: 139 lbs. + 6 during pregnancy = 145

Baby 3: 144 lbs. + 30 during pregnancy = 174 delivery

Baby 4: This pregnancy... starting at 147 + ? = ?

You would think that I might be having this kid in the 170's. Right? That seems to be a pattern... no matter how thin I am, my body has an internal timer near 175 pounds and OUT POPS THE BABY.

All would be great with that idea if I wasn't still THREE MONTHS out and already 166 lbs! Did I mention that the holidays are coming up... and there will be food?

Here's me the week before Baby K was born, at Target - on the old-people scooter because I couldn't walk. Mind you, I was only 174 pounds. That's only 8 pounds away from RIGHT NOW, people. So you can imagine how miserable I already feel. My doctor is considering going on vacation for the next three months so she won't have to listen to me beg her to 'get the baby out'. She has nightmares still from the last pregnancy she endured with me. Poor thing.

I guess I shouldn't complain that the heartburn is beginning again... because I'm pretty sure there won't be seconds for me of anything this Thanksgiving or Christmas. If I were a 6 year old, I would be stomping my feet and crossing my arms because "It JUST ISN'T FAIR." Thanksgiving and Christmas foods are my favorite in the whole wide world. Even better because I'm not the one having to cook them all.

Wanna know what's on the menu at Kevin's Mom's side?

Turkey
Dressing
Sweet Potato Yeast Rolls
Mustard Greens
Sweet Potato Casserole
Broccoli and Rice Casserole
Cabbage
Corn Pudding
Brussell Sprouts?
Green Beans
Pinto Beans
Macaroni and Cheese Casserole
Sweet Tea
Sugar Cookies
Chocolate Pie
Pecan Pie
Pumpkin Pie
Pumpkin Bread
Fruit Salad
Green Jello
Oreo Balls
Cheesecake

We aren't going to this feast, unfortunately. However, I can't help but think that it is very fortunate for my next doctor appointment that we are missing it this year.

Sadly, I'm pretty sure that the food at Kev's Dad's house will be equally wonderful, with only a slight bit less focus on dessert. Nana makes a mean stuffing and her Nut and Jello Salads are AMAZING (she has a green one and a really pretty wine colored one).

[As I was typing this, Pop just called to ask me what I needed to make my Sweet Potato Bliss. Oh, about "6 sticks of butter" I told him. I was only exagerating a little bit. Sweet Potato Bliss is my favorite.]

So... today, I'll be getting my glucose screening at the blood lab and trying to avoid the cheeseburger I'm craving. And then later this week, I'll be watching the scale as closely as I watch the sales for Black Friday. The online ones that is... because this pregnant mama is NOT standing in lines at 5AM for anything.

...Because I'm already grumpy about having to skip seconds on Thanksgiving.

All I want for Thanksgiving - and Christmas - is a really slow weight gain, relief from the pressure of this elephant sitting on my chest, very little if any heartburn (so I can actually enjoy my cranberry and dressing)... and the promise of an easy delivery (of a baby that is NOT bigger than the last one - HELLO 9 pounds of agony with your arm folded beside your head!). Oh, and it would be nice if my relatives would all commit to having another Thanksgiving meal in June. Or even July. We can crank down the A/C and pretend like it isn't 104 degrees, even. By then, I'm sure I'll be breathing a lot better - and I'll even volunteer to make more than one of the dishes.

Thanksgiving in July. I like the sound of that.

The Winner of the CDs

Just a quick note to let you know who won the Christian music CDs:

Random comment #8 had it: Lee from http://beautifulbeyond.wordpress.com/

Yay, Lee! Email me your addy and I'll get these to you next week!

As for me, the big boys left us here alone with a sick little man and an endless amount of laundry to keep us entertained for the weekend. Apparently, getting a Scout merit badge for shooting a rifle is more important than laundry and a clean house. Who would have thought?

I'll try and get a real post up tomorrow. Because I won't be going to church to spread our germs. Not letting the little guy chew on all the toys in the cry room after a week of Vicks, medicine, and breathing out of his mouth. That's the kind of sharing that just isn't nice - I'm sure Jesus would agree.

November 17, 2010

...And Then Life Happened.

Remember those grand plans of a scheduled blog calendar, a scheduled school week, a general keeping of commitments previously jotted down on my day-planner? Well... let's just say this week is still a 'work in progress'.

- we ran out of diapers and had to go out for errands in the middle of a school day
- the baby wrote on the couch again
- some time after two solid days of teething, uncontrollable flailing fits of baby-rage when he didn't get his way, and waking in the middle of the night for a bottle (reverting back to his infancy)...
- it seems the Viking has caught a cold
- and now he can't breathe (which makes sleeping for anyone in the house difficult)

So I'm praying that little dude doesn't pass his nasty germs to the rest of us because we have another doctor appointment for big sister (who is equally falling apart with her still-undiagnosed chronic back pain and now vision issues) on Friday... along with mama's OBGYN check up for the baby bump.

Because it would stink to go to the doctor sick or reschedule. And,

- my blood pressure may not be perfect right now, either

SO... say a prayer for us and all the other issues we have that are just - well - unbloggable. And I'll be sure to get caught up on that blog calendar list for you as soon as 'normal' (whatever that is) returns to the bee hive.

I haven't forgot about the Geography post, the P...review, the Relevant pictures, and the winner of this week's Christian Music CD give-away. I'm just a bit detained at the moment.

Life is never boring.

*update 11/18 ... and now Morgan is sick...

On My Radio... Fave Christian Music

Ready for a give-away? Interested in learning about some great tunes for your Christian music collection? Read on...

Meredith Andrews is very new to me... introduced to me by my 11 year old (which spends way too much time on Pandora Radio listening to Britt Nicole-esque music). She begged me for weeks to take her to Mardels to pick up this album and offered to do every chore in the house to make up the money she lacked. I admit I was curious as to what was so special that she would work her little fingers to the bone (and cook dinner without help) to purchase. Sweet surprises - Meredith has a wonderful voice and her song, "You are Not Alone" is a joy. I don't mind when Morgan leaves her MA CD in my SUV. KWIM?

Mela Kamin (which you can't buy on Amazon - you have to purchase through her store online) is a Christian singer that I actually have had the pleasure to MEET in person - twice! She's even a blogger! And she does vlogging over there, too. I loved the vlog about the way she sings to her kids each night before she puts them to bed. I adore her voice and her personality. We love bee-bopping to "Surrounded by Your Love". The baby even 'dances' in his car seat when it comes on.

Krystal Myers is a young new Christian singer that my 11 year old daughter introduced me to. I think she found her while listening to Pandora Radio on my iPhone (the Britt Nicole channel). She's energetic and has really amazing pop songs - very catchy and upbeat. One of my favorites is 'In Your Hands'. She looks kind of tweeny-bop on the cover, but I was impressed with her talent. I don't mind sharing the CD player in the car when we can both agree on the tunes! I might even put a few of these on my iTunes account and transfer them to my music players!

Heather Payne came to me as a review and made her way in to my stash of every-day faves (the ones that get left in the CD player all the time). The cool thing about this album is that she takes traditional hymns that most long-time hymn-singing Christians would know... and she adds a little original twist and some great background music to them. You find yourself just singing along in praise and worship. Her voice is sweet and easy to sing with. Love her passion. Two of my faves from her album are "Be Thou My Vision" and "Jesus Paid it All".

I have quite a few Chris Rice albums and I know he's been around a long time. It was hard to pick just one album, but I discovered him not long after I became a Christian myself and fell in love with "Smellin' Coffee" on those long drives to work when I was on fire with the newness of Christ. That song drew me to buy this album... but the song that gave me chills every time I heard it was "And Your Praise Goes On". Chris' smooth voice and the poetry of the lyrics in "Your Praise Goes On" are breathtaking. I can't help but sing along with tears in my eyes. Another favorite of his (on a different album) is "Hallelujahs". It is probably my favorite non-Christmas Christian song of all time.

My daughter went through a long phase of 'Britt Nicole Mania' (we affectionately called it). Over the time when we had to endure song after song, they grew on us. After a while of not hearing them I find I've come to miss them. I'm pretty sure I'm going to add a few to my collection of Christian music when I get time to update my iTunes library, actually. A few of her favorites of mine are "Headphones" (Morgan's favorite, too), "Glow", and "Safe". On another of her albums 'Say It', she has a really cute song called "Holiday" about taking a break from the grind (love her lyrics 'lack of sleep is what I do - Starbucks rescue me, again'). It is great having upbeat and happy tunes ready to go when you need a pick me up. Makes for good driving music, too.

Last but not least - the CD that never leaves my favorites... Watermark's "All Things New". I know every note, every word, every breath of this album by heart. It is like air to me. It never leaves my vehicle... and it's already on my iTunes (probably was the first thing that got put on there). After I had my miscarriage, it was "Glory Baby" that helped me get through the pain. Every time I have a good friend that makes my heart soar, I think of them when I sing "More Than You'll Ever Know". Christy's voice is like brown-sugar-maple-cinnamon and I love singing with her more than any other performer. I couldn't leave this album off of the list even though it's really an oldie: released in 2000.

I actually have a copy of Mela Kamin and Heather Payne's CDs to give away (both to one randomly chosen winner). You can have up to ten entries if you post about this give-away, tweet about this give-away, connect with me on Google Friend Connect or Twitter... and/or sub to my RSS feed. All you have to do is answer the following question in the comments...

What are a few of your top Christian recording artists/songs?

Make sure that each entry for each thing you do is a separate one! If you put all the stuff you do in one entry it will only count once! I'll accept entries for the CDs through Friday!

The Unbelievable Secret Weekend

bw-secretweekend1

A few weeks before I left for the Relevant Blog Conference, I was contacted by a social media guru... one who was working for a company to research educational 'experts' that might be able to share in a focus group to help the product launch in to the market this coming spring. I giggled that she thought I was any sort of expert - if only she knew, right? I even mentioned to her that I thought she was a tad crazy... but she assured me that she wanted a team of homeschool moms, a few people to represnt private schools and a slew of educators from the public arena. It was not a huge group, but a very diverse and amazingly talented group, for sure.

I was ready to tell her "No" right off the bat. Being in the middle of a blog awards season at the Homeschool Post, and knowing that I would have just gotten home from a very long and taxing drive all the way from Texas to Pennsylvania and back for a busy conference and a dizzying array of packed-in field trips... I knew I was going to be SO tired. She wouldn't take no for an answer. She made me an offer I couldn't refuse: a trip for my husband and I to a hotel in Nashville... dinner and a show... and the chance to see blog friends that I love - who live in other states.

bw-secretweekend2

How could I refuse?

The only catch was that I couldn't bring the kids... and no mention could be made about the productS I was learning about until after it launched (hence the 'secret' in my title).

I set the kids up with grandma, worked out plans for them to have sleepovers with friends, and made sure we had plenty of daipers and milk. Last Friday morning, my husband and I set off for the airport (my kids were overjoyed by getting the day off to bowl and play video games instead of doing 'school').

bw-secretweekend5

You already know I love taking road trips if you have read my blog for any length of time. What I bet you don't know is that I also love to fly. I started flying as a little girl - before the age of 5... with a baggage tag around my wrist so my divorced parents could claim me on either end of the flight. I flew alone and sat near the stewardess station from the time I was entering elementary school until some time in my high school years. Over a decade of flying ever other weekend or so; and the blue expanse above Texas became my 'other' home.

It was so nice to be back up there above the clouds. Nearly 13 years on the ground wasn't enough to take that feeling away... so familiar - like riding a bike or driving a car... you can ground the frequent flyer but you can't take the sky out of them.

The trip there was a little hectic. Connecting flights in Houston - in separate terminals - meant rushing (and almost missing) our plane. If you've ever been through the Houston airport, you'll know what I'm talking about... shuttle trains that drive you to other connecting terminals and endless walking (or waddling when you are as fat pregnant as I am). We managed to fit everything we needed in 1 carry-on bag... but I still had a backpack (for the laptop and bathroom stuff), my Camera bag, and my duffel bag purse. Each of us with 2 heavy bags and winter coats to shuffle... and security lines where you have to remove your shoes... and "pee in a cup" (my husband loves to exagerate).... equals STRESS.

I shouldn't have worn high heel boots, that's for sure. The charlie horses were my first clue.

bw-secretweekend9

When we arrived they picked us up and took us to the hotel - with enough time to enjoy a nap. It was a strange feeling not to worry if the baby was going to fall down the stairs when I fell asleep; or what the big kids were doing with their free time. I kept popping my eyes open and wondering where I was.

bw-secretweekend8

It was nice remembering I was in Nashville... and alone with my husband - who was snoring on the other side of a gigantic, plush, modern, king-sized bed (with down comforters and pillows). To be honest, I didn't even feel guilty - even though it was the first time I had left the Viking boy overnight (he's 20 months).

Trust me - the hotel room and the bathroom totally made up for those disoriented moments and strange dreams. It was fabulous. And posh. And swanky.

bw-secretweekend6

If I could have used a shrinking laser gun on the bathroom, I would have taken it home inside my purse. It made me want to pull up all my carpet and do concrete floors. Even upstairs. All over the house. Just imagine all the cat hairball mess I wouldn't be crying about if my floors were all mop-friendly and shiny like that?!

bw-secretweekend7

I took a picture of myself in the bathroom mirror to prove that I went on the trip. Don't you hate it that every time you go on vacation there are no pictures of you when you get home? I went through my photos and didn't even find one where my husband and I are together. What a shame - the one 'date weekend' we have since the kids were tots and we don't even have a photo to show for it.

bw-secretweekend10

Finally rested, we sauntered down to the lobby and waited for the 'meet and mingle' to begin at Starbucks. Having a Starbucks in the hotel was a huge plus... and the art on every wall was also a nice touch. The company gave us badges and told us that 'drinks were on them'. Too bad those magic badges don't still work at random Starbucks all over the country. That would come in quite handy, eh?

bw-secretweekend14

The first person I saw and recognized was my Homeschool Post partner in crime - Dawn.

Don't we look great here? Amazing what a little 'out-of-focus' can do for your skin. Takes the years off! She has some much nicer shots of us, I'm sure. I covet her 'full frame' camera... even though it's a Nikon. Don't ask me what full frame means... the "Professional DSLR for Dummies" version is that "it lets in more light which equals better photos all around". Handy for me that Canon also makes one of those (because I use Canon lenses). The Canon 5D Mark II is on my Christmas list ($probably will stay there for the next decade, too$).

It was the third time I had been fortunate enough to meet up with my Georgia Peach in real life (IRL). I was so glad she brought her hubby, Bryan, along to hang with Kevin. Pretty soon, Jenn showed up... and not long after that we were wisked away to dinner and an introduction to the company and products we had all come so far to learn about.

bw-secretweekend11

The photo above shows the whole slew of us... Megan, Sue (who doesn't drink sweet tea), Sami, Jenn and fat, pregnant, poncho-wearing me.

I can't show you the pictures from our focus groups... at least not the ones that have company logos and such. Those will be for a later date - and I can't wait to share them... because the product (which is really about helping kids love music) knocked my socks off.

bw-secretweekend12

I feel so blessed and fortunate to be able to have gone on this focus group weekend - but mostly, to have access to the program once the release date comes! My kids are beside themselves with anticipation.

bw-secretweekend28

In addition to great catered meals, fun discussion and games, Starbucks coffee, and enjoying time with friends... they had a wonderful 'private' songwriter evening set up for us at BB Kings Blues Club on Saturday night. Barely two blocks from our hotel, BB Kings offered us a river-front view in the back rooms and an AMAZING catering service with Tennessee BBQ, baked beans, pasta Alfredo, green beans and onions, salad, cornbread and cherry cobbler. The brisk (29 degree) walk was totally forgotten by the time I had my second helping. Or was that the third?

bw-secretweekend26

Dawn and I snuck away from the tables before the eating and singing began to take a few pictures inside the club. We were far in the back behind closed doors - but the font end of the club was full of Tennessee nightlife - bar lights, blues players, dancing and fast-moving waitresses.

bw-secretweekend29

I don't get out much (with 3.5 kids to raise, educate and feed)... so I enjoyed getting these shots. There are a few that I didn't include (just a few) over at my Flickr page... if you want to go browse there. It has been forever since I went on a date with my husband to any place that wasn't kid-friendly.

bw-secretweekend21

We aren't drinkers, but I love to hear live music. Funny that I never do it - seeing as how I live in the 'Live Music Capitol' of the world: Austin, TX. This trip made me realize that Kev and I really should do more things together without the kids every now and then.

bw-secretweekend30

Of course, you can't come to Tennessee without seeing a picture of Dolly Parton somewhere.

bw-secretweekend19

This one's true color was BLUE (fitting for a blues club, eh?) - not black and white. The urban artwork in BB Kings was so cute. It reminded me of some of the childrens books I have reviewed recently.

bw-secretweekend16

Dinner was fabulous. The show - Gordon Kennedy and Wayne Kirkpatrick, live and in person - was amazing. They sang not only songs that they have written for other big country and pop stars - but some that they wrote which haven't ever been released. One of those songs had all the women in the house crying - and I vowed to stalk W.K. until I had my hands on a copy of it. "Pity the fool" country star that ever turned it down... if he's shared it with any of them. It made me want to get out all my country albums again.

bw-secretweekend15

Here's Kevin watching the show (wish I was in the picture... but at least my iPhone got to enjoy sitting there by him when he was lookin' so cute).

bw-secretweekend22

On the way home from BB Kings we were amazed at how 'busy' the nightlife had gotten. We passed by a few cop cars arresting someone on the ground, watched countless cars roll slowly by with their windows vibrating to the bass, listened to folks yelling at people to get out of the street and stop blocking traffic, and heard horns honking (enough to make you wonder if you were in New York and not Nashville).

bw-secretweekend25

We had to listen to the boom-boxes and traffic half way in to the night from our hotel room window. That was my only beef with the hotel - besides the fact that they (being Southern in location) did NOT serve sweet tea on their buffet.

bw-secretweekend23

This little fact (the lack of sweet tea) sparked some interesting discussion between us blog moms... and inspired quite a few sweet tea recipes to be posted. Apparently one of us had never TRIED sweet tea before (can't blame Sue - she's from Arizona).

bw-secretweekend24

Just when we thought the company, their product, and the weekend couldn't get any better - they called us all together to give us a gift. The entire trip was gift enough... and the cute boxes in our room with local goodies like cupcakes, Moonpies, and snacks... the amazing food and the wonderful show. Needless to say, we weren't expecting much of a gift. First they handed out jackets with their logo. Everyone chatted as they tried on and passed out the correct sizes.

Then someone grabbed a microphone and went up front to say that they wanted to give us an iPad of our very own. "Liar!" I heard myself shout. Then the cardboard crate was passed down the center aisle and brand new iPad boxes began to be pulled out by the group of employees at the front of the room. The noise level went through the roof. Everyone reacted like you would imagine if we had all just won something on a game show: screaming, crying, jumping... and some of us just gaping - mouths open - in wonder and awe.

Someone placed an iPad box in my hands. "I thought the jackets were a great gift," I said - not really caring if anyone could hear me. It was just too much. Over the top.

bw-secretweekend13

I remembered hugging Steve (one of the guys responsible for our weekend) and telling him after the show at BB Kings that I felt like 'Cindarella' in Nashville. I couldn't believe a company would seek out the opinions of homeschool mom bloggers and treat them like royalty for the weekend. It makes me all moist around the eyes just thinking about it. What an amazing gift to be part of this talented group of people - and in such a small way to represent the homeschool community for them.

I went to sleep that night with a smile on my face... after hugging some wonderful people good-bye. We had to miss breakfast and nearly missed our flights home because the shuttle guy was late picking us up, and he had an unscheduled stop along the way to the airport to pick up some Delta pilots. Before the sun was up Sunday morning, Nashville was disappearing in to the clouds.

bw-secretweekend4

I tried not to complain about my flight home after such a great adventure... even though part of the lavitory wall fell off on me and I had to literally sprint through the Nashville airport to get on my first plane. Pregnant ladies don't look so pretty walking waddling - much less running. I was so thankful to flag down a little cart which was driving to the end of our terminal in Houston.

bw-secretweekend3

We left the Tennessee hills behind and returned home to Austin... full of gratitude for such a wonderful 'Secret Weekend'. It might be secret, but it will certainly stick with me as one of the best 'blog-related' experiences I have ever had. I'm so glad I got to be there, to see a few friends, and to take my husband along for such a unique experience. He might not read my blog or really like blogging in general, but this past weekend showed him that people are blessed enough by our online presence to care what we think... and since he's the one who has to share me and my time with the online community - that meant the world to me.

Thank you so much, you-know-who-you-are. I'm glad to be on your 'advisory team' and so thrilled for all the homeschooled kids that will one day get to use your products!
